Bubble tea for your face?! Etude's House Bubble Tea sleeping packs review!

Hello, my beauties! Today, I am very excited to talk to you about something that I've mentioned quite a lot on the blog already - these lovely Bubble Tea sleeping packs by Etude House! I have talked about these in my Korean beauty haul, and today, I am bringing you a more in-depth review. It's fair to say that Korean beauty products have completely transformed my skincare routine; and these cute, edible-looking sleeping packs are amongst my all-time favourites. Hope you enjoy!

Sleeping packs are an essential part of any Korean beauty regime. They're basically overnight face masks that you apply at the end of your evening routine, and then wash them off in the morning. They're much more rich and hydrating than your usual night creams, packed with essential oils and moisturising ingredients. Etude House's Bubble Teas were my first real encounter with sleeping packs - I was immediately drawn to the cute packaging! These look just like real bubble teas, and they all smell absolutely divine. Of course, when it comes to skincare, it's the formula that really matters, but the packaging is gorgeous and was enough to convince me into buying all three versions!

The Bubble Tea sleeping packs have a gel-like consistency, with moisture capsule bubbles which you can pierce and mix in with the rest of the formula. Admittedly, it is not the most straight-forward application process. The bubbles are quite difficult to pierce, and it takes a little while to apply the formula onto the skin. Once applied, these feel incredibly soothing and refreshing. As with most sleeping packs, they don't fully dry out throughout the night. You need to be careful when sleeping so that you don't end up wiping it all off on your pillow (it happened to me so many times)! These Bubble Teas come in three different versions:

Black Tea. It smells just like sweet vanilla tea with honey! Designed to firm and moisturize, I think that this is the most hydrating one out of the three. I like to use it especially during colder months, when my skin is in need of that extra moisture.
Strawberry Tea. Admittedly, my least favourite one out of the three. I love that it smells like strawberry bubble gum, but it hasn't made a visible difference to my skin. The formula is supposed to hydrate and brighten, and I think that it would be more appropriate for very dry skin types.
Green Tea. My favourite one out of the three! Designed to help with enlarged pores and oil control, this one is a must-have for oily skin types. Whenever I use it, I wake up with visibly clearer and refreshed skin! It also smells absolutely divine, fresh and citrusy.

Whether or not these sleeping packs are right for you, depends entirely on your skin type. If you have oily or combination skin, I wholeheartedly recommend that you try the Green Tea version. It has been my go-to for the past few weeks - my skin is so much clearer and I don't get as many breakouts (even my boyfriend commented on how much clearer and more radiant my skin looks!). For any dry skin types, I think that Black Tea or Strawberry Tea would be a better option. You can purchase these online at the Etude House website for about £10, or on Amazon.

This post is not sponsored, nor am I affiliated with the brand (I wish!). I discovered these sleeping packs a while ago, and wanted to share with you a proper review since I've been talking about these so much!
