Girly Gaming // My Favourite Games Of 2017!

Hello, loves! Today's post is going to be a little different, and I'm very excited for it. A while back, I mentioned that I wanted to experiment with my content a little, and talk about things that are not only beauty-related. One of the things I really enjoy - but don't ever really mention on my blog - is gaming. I'm actually a huge nerd and always have been, but I would always assume that talking about games wouldn't really fit in with the overall 'beauty' theme of Shoes and Glitter. Still, I am excited to try something new, and if you lovelies enjoy it as well, it might turn into a proper blog series. Today, I will be sharing with you some of my favourite, addictive games that I loved playing in 2017. Fair warning - excessive geekery is about to commence!

Anastasia Beverly Hills 'Sugar Glow Kit' Review + Win Your Own! International Giveaway

Hello there, my loves! I hope you're all having a wonderful week. Today, I am very excited to be bringing you a review of the Sugar Glow Kit highlighter palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills (£41, Feelunique). If you have been visiting my blog for a while, you might know that I always used to be a little hesitant towards using highlighters. I've always loved the glowy look, but, as you can probably guess, excessively oily skin tends to disagree with any kind of highlight. Still, I enjoy a little glow with a good matte foundation from time to time; and lately I have been exploring more high-end options. I've recently splurged on one of the ABH limited edition Glow Kits, and today, we're going to talk about it in a little more detail. There is also a little giveaway for you at the end of this post, where you can enter to win an Anastasia Beverly Hills Sugar Glow Kit palette of your own!

Winter Perfume Recommendations 2017!

Hello my lovelies, and happy new year! It's been a short while since my last post, as I took a little break from blogging and social media over Christmas. I was lucky enough to have the entire Christmas week off (for the first time ever since starting my job!), and I've been trying to get back into the swing of things, including everything blogging-related. Today, I am very excited to be bringing you the very first post of 2018, which is all about the best perfumes to wear this winter. I think that winter is the perfect time of year to enjoy fragrances that are quite dark, intense and sweet. My favourite winter perfume notes include earthy patchouli, caramel, marshmallow and iris; all of which will feature in today's list. Hope you enjoy!
