Autumn Fragrance Recommendations 2017!

Hello, my loves! Today, I am very excited to be bringing you my seasonal fragrance recommendations - we are doing it for the third year in a row now, and keeping the tradition going strong! Now, I know that autumn is still one day away, but personally, I just can't wait for it. I am not a huge fan of summer, and I much prefer the cool, crispy, pumpkin-spiced goodness that is autumn. And, as we're celebrating the start of this new season, I wanted to share with you a few of my top perfume picks that will keep you smelling lovely all throughout this autumn. Hope you enjoy!

CLASSIC & ELEGANT

Valentino - Valentina (£63 for 50ml)
I have been debating whether or not to add this one to my recommendations, as it is such a unique and polarizing fragrance. Valentina is unlike anything I've ever smelled - it offers an interesting combination of earthy, smokey accords with a hint of juicy strawberries. It's an intruging mix of notes that resemble the scent of fog and ash, with very sweet, fruity nuances; but it is beautiful and unique nonetheless. Definitely try this out if you are in a mood for something completely different!

Guerlain - Mon Guerlain (£68 for 50ml)
This recent launch by Guerlain is versatile enough to be worn all year round, but I think that the floral undertones make it especially lovely for those cold, autumn days. Mon Guerlain is a harmonious composition of very natural-smelling lavender notes, with delicate nuances of sandalwood and vanilla. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who's looking for a beautiful, classic floral fragrance. If you're interested, you can check out my full review here

CASUAL & COMFORTABLE

Abercrombie & Fitch - 8 (£27 for 50ml)
This is a gorgeous, spicy vanilla scent with a slightly masculine feel to it, which I think makes it quite unusual. 8 smells very clean, but cosy; combining delicate notes of peach nectar, vanilla and jasmine; with a hint of ginger which gives it that warm spiciness. It's very casual, but still a memorable fragrance; and not as sweet and straight-up girly as a lot of my other recommendations. Definitely check it out if you're in a mood for something subtle, yet unpredictable and interesting!

Victoria's Secret - Heavenly (£51 for 50ml)
I've talked about this scent quite a lot on my blog already, but I could not imagine my autumn recommendations without it! Heavenly is a departure from the typical VS fragrances - it's not at all sugary, but more powdery, soft and clean. Smelling this always makes me think of being wrapped up in a big, fluffy duvet, which is perfect for those cold autumn nights. I'd recommend checking it out if you are not into the usual, mainstream fragrances - Heavenly is very different and so beautiful.

WARM & FRUITY

Lolita Lempicka - Lolita Lempicka (£20 for 30ml)
This is one of the most enchanting and unique perfumes of all time, and it brings together some of the most unusual perfume notes that you really don't see (or smell!) used very often. Lolita Lempicka combines the scent of licorice, star anise and cherries; which together create a warm, sweet composition that really blossoms on the skin in colder weather. Also, the bottle has to be one of my all-time favourites! It's so beautiful and whimsical, and it really captures the soul of this fragrance.

Lancome - Tresor Midnight Rose (£45 for 30ml)
Midnight Rose is my staple every autumn - this perfume smells like a dark, mystical berry garden with delicate hints of sweet roses, vanilla and woods. It is incredibly feminine and recognisable, without being overly sweet or generic. Midnight Rose is easily versatile enough to be worn all year round, but the warm, cosy autumnal vibe makes it particularly lovely for this season. I'd recommend checking it out if you're in a mood for something feminine, fruity and memorable.

Hope you enjoyed these recommendations! What are your favourite perfumes to wear during autumn? x
